Long Island Catholic Schools, through the Diocese of Rockville Centre, has created the Excellence in Catholic Education Awards to support Catholic elementary students who choose to attend Holy Trinity High School.
Excellence in Catholic Education Award $2,500 academic scholarship (total of $10,000)
Candidates must:
Be a graduate of a Catholic School in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Be accepted to and choose to attend Holy Trinity High School.
Be in good standing academically and financially at their elementary school.
Be registered at Holy Trinity High School by February 1, 2026.
Catholic School Principals in DRVC elementary schools are invited to nominate, by December 8, 2025, two students to receive the Top Scholars Awards. Candidates must:
Be a graduate of a Catholic School in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.
Be recommended, in writing, by his/her Catholic elementary school principal by December 8, 2025.
Achieve a GPA of 95 or higher to be nominated for the scholarship.
Display leadership by participation in one or more school or community activities.
Remain in good standing with tuition payments at their elementary school.
Maintain a weighted GPA of 95.0 at Holy Trinity High School in order to renew the scholarship.
Be registered at Holy Trinity High School by February 1, 2026.
* Nominations for Top Scholar Awards must be received by Holy Trinity on or before December 8, 2025. The final selection of the $7,500 and $5,000 Top Scholars Awards will be decided by the Holy Trinity High School Admissions Committee and will be notified in writing by January 14. Recipients must be registered at Holy Trinity High School by February 1, 2026 in order to receive the awards.Top Scholar Awards are inclusive of all financial aid, academic scholarships and the Excellence in Catholic Education Awards. If the student is unable to maintain the top scholars award, she/he will still qualify for the $2,500 Excellence in Catholic Education Award and will be eligible to apply for financial aid.
